Emergency Vehicles At I-81 Crash Scene, Traffic Delayed For Miles

A crash on I-81 had the southbound lanes delayed for miles Sunday evening, May 5.

The VDOT site said the south right land and shoulder were closed at mile marker 264 in New Market, Shenandoah County as of 5:40 p.m.

Emergency response vehicles were at the scene. Traffic backups are approximately 2.5 miles.
